Wherever you are, clicking on 'Inspect' or 'Replace' will do the same thing.
Inspect Features & Benefits:
1. Select Damage Type
2. Select Wear Damage Class
0 = Not accessible to the eye
1 = No visible damage detected
2-4 = A degree of visual damage detected. (2 being minimal, to 4 being severe)
*When filing an inspection report on a gear you are able to check if/how many broken teeth there are.
3. Add the Inspection Date
Replace Features & Benefits:
1. Select Replacement Component
*If we do not have the component you need, you can request a new component.
When you request a new component you must name the supplier, model and serial # of the component added.
2. Enter Replacement Date
Once you submit your replacement, the Mean Time to Observable Damage (MTOD) will turn grey.
You will see one of two icons:
A pause button if we need to model the new component, or
A reload icon that indicates that the model is being rerun/updated.
The use of these features will allow you to keep your
models up-to-date & predictions accurate.
